Canada Latest Updates to the List of Permitted Food Additives

On June 28, 2019, the Federal Health Department of Canada has published the "NOM/ADM-0133 Health Canada's Notice of Modification to the Lists of Permitted Food Additives"
With this communication, Health Canada’s Food Directorate announces that the List of Permitted Sweeteners and the List of Permitted Emulsifying, Gelling, Stabilizing or Thickening Agents are modified to accept the use of acesulfame potassium, sucralose, steviol glycosides from various sources and potassium phosphate, dibasic in certain Standardized Flavoured Milks.
Changes are effective from June 27, 2019.
