China Issues Rapid Detection Methods of Multiple Reference Substances

On October 14, 2019, the Chinese State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has released new rapid detection methods to analyze the content of multiple reference substances in foods.

Among others, the methods have been introducted to detect the following:

• Chloramphenicol in aquatic products by colloidal gold immunotomography (KJ201905)
• Quinolones in animal source foods colloid gold immunotomography (KJ201906)
• Melamine in liquid milk by colloidal gold immunotomography (KJ201907) and Raman spectroscopy (KJ201908)
