EU Modification of Existing Maximum Residue Limits for Triclopyr in Animal Commodities

On May 05, 2023, the European Food Safety Authority published the regulation on “Modification of the existing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for Triclopyr in animal commodities” in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005.
The scope of the document highlights the following points:
- MRLs were derived for swine and ruminant edible commodities and for ruminant milks;
- Triclopyr on the commodities was established at (LOQ) of 0.01 mg/kg;
- Short and long-term intake of residues is unlikely to present a risk to consumer health.
