On February 07, 2020, the European Food Safety Authority has released the "Manual for reporting on zoonoses and zoonotic agents,within the framework of Directive 2003/99/EC, and on some other pathogenic microbiological agents for information derived from the year 2019.“
The aim of the manual is to harmonise the reporting by Member States (MSs) to ensure relevant and comparable data regarding zoonoses and zoonotic agents in animals, food and feed under the framework of the Directive 2003/99/EC and of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/772, plus other pathogenic microbiological agents in food.
Among them, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, Toxoplasma, West Nile virus are included in the guidance.
