FSANZ Publishes Food Standard Code (Maximum Residue Limits-Schedule 20) Variations 2022

On October 18th, 2022, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand’s Federal Register of Legislation published the article “Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code-Schedule 20-Maximum residue limits” per section 92 of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991.
The document comprising MRLs of pesticides highlights the following:

• The proposed changes of the two recent variations (Proposal M1019 and M1020) were incorporated in this regulation;
• The maximum residues limits for Agvet chemical and their pesticide residue are listed in chronological order;
• New substances such as Cyhexatin, Dinocap, Fenamidone, Tolfenpyrad, Triazophos, Valifenalate have been included in the Maximum residue limits table.

The regulation is effective from September 07th, 2022.
