On February 25, 2019, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MSDF) published a new amendment to the “Health Functional Food Code.”
The notice “Health Functional Food Code (No.2019-10)” affects the values of acid and peroxide of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) present in fats and oils under the application of dietary supplements.
Changes will be effective from February 28, 2019.
