On January 30, 2019, the Minister for National Development of Singapore published the “Food (Amendment) Regulations 2019.“
The document sets new rules that will go into force on February 1, 2019:
- New limits for certain food additives;
- Additional uses for food additives already regulated;
- Modification of maximum limits: new limit for inorganic arsenic and deletion of limit for copper and formaldehyde.
