Singapore Amends Food Regulations

On January 30, 2019, the Minister for National Development of Singapore published the “Food (Amendment) Regulations 2019.“

The document sets new rules that will go into force on February 1, 2019:

• New limits for certain food additives;
• Additional uses for food additives already regulated;
• Modification of maximum limits: new limit for inorganic arsenic and deletion of limit for copper and formaldehyde.
