Singapore To Amend the Food Regulations

On June 02, 2020, a new amendment to the Food Regulations, (Chapter 283, Section 56(1)) of the Sale of Food Act was published on the Singapore Statutes Online.

The following sections are subject to change:

• "Partially hydrogenated oils" section of Part III – General Provisions;
• "Edible fats and oils" section of Part IV- Standards and particular labelling requirements for food;
• First Schedule - Permitted use of general terms in the declaration of ingredients;

The enter into force date is June 01, 2021.
