Taiwan Releases New Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods

On August 2, the Food and Drug Administration of Taiwan has published a new amendment to the ”Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods”, by updating the version from June 2019.
New pesticide limits have been introduced for the following substances, among others:
- The insecticides abamectin, acetamiprid, clothianidin and chalothrin;
- The fungicides boscalid, fluopicolide and flutriafol;
- The acaricide fenbutatin-oxide.
Changes have immediate effect.
