On March 19, 2019, the World Trade Organization (WTO) notified the publication of the Draft MOPH Notification, B.E, entitled "Requirements and Conditions for the Term "Premium" on Food Labels."
The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) is proposing to repeal the notifications “Displaying of the Term "Premium" on Food Labels” and “Displaying of the Term "Premium" on Food labels of Pasteurized Cows’ Milk and Pasteurized Full Fat Cows' Milk.“
The aim of the document is to ensure that food labelled “Premium“ on the label will comply with the relevant notifications of the Ministry of Public Health regarding the following:
