United States Adopts New Pesticides Tolerances – October 2019

On October 7, 2019, new final rules on pesticides tolerances have been published on the Federal Register of the United States of America.
The food pesticides involved are the following:
- Clothianidin, with a new tolerance level to be used for rice, grain;
- Thiamethoxam, that now has new time-limited tolerances for rice, grain and rice, straw;
- Chlorantraniliprole, with a new entry for palm, oil;
- Cyromazine, which new tolerance levels affect multiple food commodities.
