The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have issued new alerts on food recalls:
- On February 25, 2019, the FDA notified the voluntary recall of bagged green beans and butternut squash distributed in southeast by Southern Specialties due to microbiological contamination. Full recall available here;
- On February 26, 2019, due to undeclared milk in the labeling the FDA recalled Bachman 10 Ounce Twist produced by UTZ Quality Foods. Full recall available here;
- On March 2, 2019, Sunstone Organics voluntary recalled the select kratom products due to potential contamination by Salmonella. Full recall available here.
