In virtues of this, the nations can request different data in the Safety Data Sheet, to complete the information concerning the classification of substances and mixtures.
In the United States, the management of issues relating to the classification, labeling and creation of SDS follows the guidelines contained in Regulation 29 CFR 1910.1200 of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), more briefly defined as HazCom.
In addition to this, the U.S. GHS requires reporting specific information, such as those related to exposure controls and individual protection, toxicological data or indications of substances classified as carcinogenic according to the IARC.
In response, Trace One has planned to develop packages (DataPackage or DSR) dedicated to loading this information about substances in your database, freeing you from the complex work of research, extraction and loading.
The new data package (DataPackage USA 2020.1) allows you to import and manage the updated information for the following sections of the HazCom SDS:
If you have already subscribed to the US data package, you will soon receive notices regarding the download of the update package or receive a contact from the reference Project Manager.
If I don't have a subscription?
No problem. Integrating the information contained in the additional packages (DataPackage or DSR) is something that can be done at any time by subscribing to the US DataPackage.
