Viet Nam Amends Labeling Rules on Food Commodities

On April 29, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, of Vietnam published the circular “Draft circular guiding Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP Apr. 14, 2017 of the government on commodity labels.“

Main changes are related to the following Articles:

• Article 5. Guide to labeling goods in case of record label missing, write incorrectly specified;
• Article 10. Specifications on warning information specified in clause 5 Article 17 of Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP;

This circular is effective since May 2019.
